This spring, Golden Gate University announced a new center of educational excellence through its GGU Worldwide program. GGU Worldwide creates a new way for working adults from across the globe to study at GGU without leaving home—earning the same degree as students who study from the United States.

“True to our founding principles of serving the educational needs of working adults, GGU Worldwide now helps ensure that access to a GGU education is affordable and accessible to students everywhere,” GGU President Dr. David J. Fike commented. “This exciting program provides students with unique opportunities to earn a Golden Gate University advanced degree from their home countries.”

GGU has partnered with upGrad, a global leader in online higher education, to serve degree-seeking students in more than 100 countries in a variety of instructional languages. The first GGU degrees offered through the GGU Worldwide program include Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Project Management, Master of Science in Business Analytics, and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business and Finance Law. Later this summer, GGU Worldwide will add Bachelor of Arts in Management and Bachelor of Sciences in Data Analytics degree offerings.

GGU Provost Brent White said, “We’re eager to welcome students from around the world to our innovative, practice-based programs taught by GGU scholar practitioners with decades of professional experience in San Francisco’s most successful companies. Through GGU Worldwide, we can now serve growing demand for graduate degrees from students in Asia, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East, and Africa. We will extend our programs to students in Latin America within the next 12 months.”

Enrollment is underway for the five graduate degree programs. Interested students should request more information by emailing info@ggu.edu. Classes start July 17th and will be taught primarily asynchronously with some synchronous elements available. GGU Worldwide is open to degree-seeking students who live outside of the United States. GGU Worldwide offers opportunities for students who start their education from outside the U.S. to complete their degree from GGU’s main San Francisco campus.
